Lana Del Rey has clapped back at Azealia Banks for the first time after the rapper slammed her on social media for Del Rey;s criticism of Kanye West.
Azealia Banks had criticised Del Rey for selective outrage in her criticism of Kanye West and asked why the singer collaborated with ASAP Rocky who is known to physically assault black women.
Azealia Banks further said Del Rey was leveraging Kanye to “pretend” to be an ally. In what could only be regarded as Twitter rant, Azealia said: “Don’t use Kanye for your own vapid attempts to seem politically aware when there is so much more bootleg witchcraft you could be doing to try and take down 45. Kanye is not your enemy or the enemy.”
Del Rey now looks to have had enough and has replied Azealia and asked the rapper not to take out her failed career “on the only person who had your back.”
She then went ahead to ask Azealia to say whatever she wants to her face.
“You know the addy, pull up anytime. Say it to my face. But if I were you, I wouldn’t.”
