Yesterday, Sunday marks the second anniversary of the great Muhammad Ali’s death. His daughter, Laila took to Instagram to remember him, sharing a wonderful picture of him and herself.
The “I Am Ali” Festival has also been held as a remembrance ceremony.
The festival began Friday at Slugger Field where the Louisville Bats hosted a Muhammad Ali Appreciation Night to start the celebration.
Several events were held on Saturday, including a memorial bike ride that rode past several landmarks including Ali’s childhood home, Central High School, Spalding University and the Columbia Gym, where he got his start.
The festival ended with a ceremony and celebration of life at the Ali Center on Sunday.
