Janet Jackson and her Qatari millionaire hubby, Wissam Al Mana, have reportedly gone their separate ways months after they welcomed a baby boy.
According to Daily Mail, a close friend of the pop singer revealed that the couple were forced to go their separate ways because their marriage wasn’t working.
“They’re both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart. It’s amicable and Eissa will stay with his mother, who is basing herself in London.” the source stated.
Jackson and Al Mana tied the knot in 2012 in an intimate ceremony with family and friends present. Last year, the singer put her Unbreakable world tour on hold after revealing to fans that she and her hubby were trying to have a baby.
Days after her son’s birth, there were breakup rumours trailing the couple after Janet was spotted in public without her wedding ring.
This will be Jackson’s third divorce.
She was briefly married to singer James DeBarge in 1984 and later married her back-up dancer, Rene Elizondo in 1991 after splitting from Debarge in 1985. Jackson and Elizondo later divorced in 2000.
