Pilot dies during flight landing
An American Airlines pilot, William “Mike” Grubbs died in flight on Wednesday en route to Albuquerque. A spokewoman for the airline has condole with the pilot’s family.
“American airlines is deeply saddened by the death of first officer William “Mike” Grubbs,” spokeswoman Polly Tracey said. “We are taking care of first officer Grubbs’ family and colleagues and our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.”
The incident happened at about 3:30pm and the medical teams effort were to no avail. The plane however landed safely.
