R&B ARTIST, TJAN EMBARKS ON SOUTH AFRICAN MEDIA TOUR

Right Entertainment Nigerian award winning artist and “Aduke” crooner, Tijani Olasunmbo Fowosere aka Tjan, is currently embarking on a week-long successful SA tour. Tjan’s achievements on this tour so far is a first for him and just the beginning of the penetration of Tjan’s music and brand outside of Nigeria.

Tjan embarked on the South African tour as a means of breaking into the S.A market. His tour consisted of PR activities and interviews as well as club appearances. Tjan also made a club appearance at Blue Room, Pretoria, South Africa on Thursday. As the tour continues he will be doing some recordings/ collaborations with some artists while in the South Africa.

Tjan has been interviewed on Vom FM (Afrodisiac Show), Capricorn FM, Tshwane FM, Good Morning Africa on AfricaMagic, Daily Planet show on Planet TV, Trans Africa Radio, GL FM and most notably hosted by TRACE TV and MTV Base. He was also interviewed on Cliff Central/Touch Central and his hit singles “Aduke” and “Meji” are currently receiving massive buzz on radio, TV plus online platforms in SA.

This SA tour comes at the back of Tjan receiving “A-List” playlisting on all major radio and TV stations for his singles “Aduke” and “Meji”, which are still on high rotation in Nigeria.

A new favourite “Meji” which has increased Tjan’s popularity with its radio and TV air play, as hit over 117,000 views on YouTube in just one week of release and still growing.

Tjan who as just been nominated in the Best RnB and Soul category at the AFRIMA awards 2016, is a testament to Tjan’s growing brand and fruits of his consistency over the past two years and shows his music crosses over and cuts across West, East and Southern African region as well as at the heart of the urban scene.
