Manchester City star boy, Kelechi Iheanacho, has been named among other top nominees for the Etihad Player of the Month nominees for January.
The 19-year old striker has another top contender for the award, Sergio Aguero, and defender Bacary Sagna to contend with.
Iheanacho made just three starts during January but he still managed to bang in four goals.
After a man-of-the-match display and goal against Norwich in the FA Cup, Iheanacho then assisted one of Aguero’s goals in the 4-0 win over Palace before again helping create a goal for Kun in the 2-2 draw with West Ham.
The teenager then stole the headlines in the 4-0 win away to Aston Villa, scoring a superb hat-trick and also made a goal for Raheem Sterling.
On the other hand, Aguero scored seven goals in seven games, while Sagna may not be able to claim a haul of goals but his assist did help City take three points at Watford and has enjoyed yet another solid month in the Blues’ defence.
The trio are up for vote by supporters as the exercise closes at noon on February 8.
