The 11th All Africa Games which began on September 4 is scheduled to end today.This year’s edition of the games was held by Brazzaville, Republic of Congo where the first ever All Africa games was hosted in 1965.
Following a disappointing performance at the World Championships, the Nigerian contingent had another chance to redeem themselves and they seized it with both hands.
The most outstanding performances for Nigeria were in power lifting where Omolayo, Loveline Obiji and Precious Orji set new World records.
