Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has boldly declared himself the best actor in Nigeria and Africa. In a recent Instagram post, Edochie stated, “Many people are saying that Yul Edochie is the best actor in Africa. Actually, they’re right. I am.”
This proclamation has sparked diverse reactions on social media. Some users disagreed with his self-assessment, while others humorously commented on his statement. For instance, one user remarked, “Who and who? Best actor my foot. Always looking for a way to wake up your dead career.”
Edochie has previously made similar assertions. In January 2025, he shared a photo from the set of his upcoming movie, “The Last Goodman,” and wrote, “Name one actor in Africa who’s fresher than me. I’ll wait.”
