Legendary afro-beat pioneer Fela Kuti‘s son, Seun Kuti, has reacted to the photos of billionaire Aliko Dangote and a couple of his friends spending the Eid-el-Fitr holiday on a yacht.
The musician took to his Instagram page to the condemn the photo which feature fellow billionaire Femi Otedola, former Governor of Cross River State Donald Duke, Segun Awolowo, Tunde Ayeni, Niyi Adebayo, and Sam Nwajoku, made the rounds on social media during the holiday.
Seun tagged them debtors who live their lavish lifestyles off tax payers money and also described the businessmen as “blood suckers”. He wrote;
I see people trying to put a positive spin on this image but what I see is a group of people with a combined debt of 2.5 trillion Naira( as just released by Amcon) which is used to buy a lavish lifestyle and paid for by tax payers. How can people owe sooo much and still be allowed to keep all their luxury while the tax payers are footing the bill. Y’all can celebrate these blood suckers but I have NO LOVE!!!! #naijaresistance
