“We Now Have Four Arms of Government” – VeryDarkMan Returns to Social Media, Shares Update

In a bold statement that has sparked conversations across the nation, popular activist Martins Otse Vincent, aka VeryDarkMan, recently declared that Nigeria now operates with four arms of government.

This surprising remark has caught the attention of both political observers and social media users alike, as it challenges traditional views on governance and the country’s political structure.

OSG had earlier reported on VDM’s arrest on the 2nd of May by officials of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC.

In a statement released by the commission said they have invited Verydarkman several times, but he refused to acknowledge their invites, which prompted his arrest.

EFCC said:

In the exercise of its mandate of tackling economic and financial crimes, invited Martins Vincent Otse owing to a series of petitions bordering on sundry issues of alleged financial crimes raised against him.

He refused to show up in spite of several invitations sent to him through his known addresses and medium of communication. The petitions pertain to grave allegations of financial malfeasance which cannot be ignored by the Commission.

It is needful to admit that the Commission is aware of several unguarded attacks of the suspect against its operations. While such conduct is condemnable, his arrest was not informed by such attacks. The relevant law enforcement agency will be allowed to look into them.

What Verydarkman said about the Nigerian Government system

In a video posted on his social media handle days after he was released, VDM shared a clip where he spoke about the political structure of the country. He said:

“We now have four arms of government.
THE LEGISLATIVE ARM
THE JUDICIAL ARM
THE EXECUTIVE ARM
And the RATEL MOVEMENT (we are just starting).”
