Following North Korea’s successful test of a hydrogen bomb yesterday, world powers are determined that the country will face consequences.

The United Nations Security council called an emergency meeting yesterday and condemned North Korea’s nuclear test.

Some measure of skepticism still remains over whether what was detonated was a hydrogen bomb. The US said its preliminary analysis suggested that North Korea detonated an atomic bomb not as poerrul as a hydrogen bomb.

Nonetheless, the Security Council has said it will punish North Korea for a “clear violation” of UNUN resolutions.
