A car bomb in the Turkish capital of Ankara killed 28 people yesterday evening, you can read about it here
Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has said that the masterminds of the bomb blast have links with the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). Turkey has stepped up attacks against PKK since last year after it blamed the Kurds for another terror attack last year.
Nine suspects have been arrested in connection with today’s bombing with the Prime Minister claiming that the suicide bomber who carried out the attack yesterday was Salih Necar, a Syrian national and member of the Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG).
“A direct link between the attack and the YPG has been established,” Davutoglu said.
