The 2016 Golden Globes held yesterday with quite a bit of fanfare. Despite strong nominations, ‘The Revenant’ won three awards including arguably the biggest category of “Best picture, drama”.

Leonardo Di Caprio won the award for Best actor in a drama for his role in ‘The Revenant’.

Some of the most prominent films that won nothing were “Mad Max, fury road” as well as the love story “Carol”.

“The Martian” received the award for Best comedy or musical film.
