Three tourists have reportedly been wounded after an attack on Egypt’s Red Sea Resort Hotel in Hurghada.
The hotel was attacked by two men, one of whom was wielding a pallet gun while the other had a knife. One of the attackers was shot and killed by the police while the other is seriously injured.
The attackers are suspected to be ISIL militants and reports indicate that their aim was to kidnap the tourists. The attackers waved an ISIL flag as they stormed the hotel.
The attack comes on the heels of a Thursday attack that ISIL has claimed responsibility for.
