American President, Barrack Obama in an emotion laden address remembered victims of mass shootings today.
He also disclosed that new steps will be taken in an effort to tighten restrictions on gun laws. Obama has failed to convince congress to tighten gun laws even as mass shootings are on the increase.
Obama outlined executive action which will require gun sellers to get additional licenses and buyers to undergo stricter checks.
The National Rifle Association (NRA), one of America’s most powerful lobbying groups is expected to challenge the new rules.
