Popular Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau will allegedly be appearing in a sharia court in Kaduna over allegations of blasphemy leveled against her.

Recall that the embattled actress shared a photo of herself showing off her bareback on social media. This immediately sparked a heated debate on Twitter by some aggrieved Northerners.

The actress is allegedly under police investigation after the racy photos she shared triggered blasphemous comments.

According to a press release signed by Lawal Muhammad Gusau on behalf of the Concerned and Peace-Loving Muslim Ummah, some conditions must be met before she defends herself.

Twitter users have since taken to the social medium to protest this act.
