Read some reactions as compiled by OSG below:

@ResonantJustice:
“I just wish it was for any other movie BESIDES this oneโ€ฆ.”

@Tecmobowlguy:
“Outside of Dune I have never seen any of these movies, honestly never heard of most of them.”

@DannyDrinksWine:
“An Oscar for that performance? lol.”

@IAmAronld:
“FINALLY” lol what did she ever do that deserves an Oscar.”

@ZachBowders:
“Finally? She’s mostly known for franchise work and is rarely the breakout character in projects she’s in. She’s not a bad actress by any means, but “finally” makes it sound like she’s been snubbed her whole career for command performances.”

@Uzanethegoat:
“She deserves it but donโ€™t make it look like she has been snubbed her whole career lol.”

@ladidaix:
“Iโ€™m surprised it didnโ€™t happen for Avatar.”

@tomlikestocode:
“From sci-fi icon to Oscar winner! Zoe Saldaรฑaโ€™s range is unmatched. Well deserved!”

@pablorozaa:
“The movie is horrible, poorly done, badly directed, completely out of reality and the awards it has been winning are proof that these awards cannot be washed seriously. But Zoe is an incredible actress, the only positive thing in that movie is her, with that horrible and poorly done script she managed to be better than the rest of the movie.”

@beatriz_barve_:
“The movie is horrible no idea of Mexico is problematic the actresses are very poor acting nasty music and songs.”

@dmar1329:
“You deserved the award, but not for this particular horrible movie that pictures Latin culture, part of your roots as a joke.”
