Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC). It was reported by Channels Television that the Governor made the announcement after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.

The Governor has however not mentioned the party where he will be contesting for the Gubernatorial Elections.
