We celebrate popular Nollywood actor Okechukwu Ukeje aka OC Ukeje this day July 15
The actor shot into the limelight after emerging the winner of Amstel Malta Box Office (AMBO) reality show. He has featured in a couple of popular movies including; Black November Two Brides and a Baby, Hoodrush, Alan Poza,Confusion Na Wa and Half of a Yellow Sun. In 2015,
O.C was born on July 15th, 1981. He is the second of three children. He attended Federal Government College Ijanikin Lagos for his secondary education. Ukeje’s acting career kicked off from his first year at the University of Lagos, Yaba.
The first time he appeared on the big screen was in the Izu Ojukwu directed White Waters (2008) with Joke Silva and Rita Dominic.
He has received several awards and accolades including Africa Movie Academy Awards, Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, Nollywood Movies Awards, Best of Nollywood Awards, Nigeria Entertainment Awards and Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards. He bagged the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) for the Best Upcoming Actor (2008) and the City People’s Award for Best New Act (2010).
He tied the knot with his hearthrob, Senami Ibukunoluwa Togonu-Bickersteth.
The actor turns 35 today.
