Newcastle United have reported agreed a deal in principle for the transfer of Swansea midfielder, Jonjo Shelvey.

Jonjo Shelvey is expected to complete his medical today and finalize his move if he passes his medical.
Shelvey moved to Swansea from Liverpool for a £5 million fee in 2013 and was instrumental to the Swans maintaining a respectable standing since then.

Swansea have struggled lately, with Gary Monk shown the door and interim manager Alan Curtis seemingly deeming Shelvey as replaceable.
