The music star, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley together with his manager were earlier arrested by the police and charged to court for organizing a concert in Abuja during the Covid-19 lockdown.
According to Channels Television, the duo pleaded guilty to the charges and they were awarded a fine of N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) each by the presiding Magistrate.
We had earlier reported that Naira Marley travelled from Lagos to Abuja to organize a musical concert despite the Covid-19 lockdown. The private airline which flew the artist, Executive Jet Sevices came out to say that Naira Marley flew under the guise of the former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola. The private airline still got suspended for its activities.
