The wins means Barcelona are 10 points clear at the top of La Liga.
The La Liga record goal scorer netted his first goal with a sublime volley from 16 yards. His second was a curling shot from the edge of the box.
The Barcelona caption soon added a third with a chip over the keeper for his 36th goal in 35 games against Sevilla
He wasn’t done and assisted Suarez with for his teams fourth in added time.
It was everything but straight forward though as sevilla took the lead twice in the first half through Navas and Gabriel Mercado.
Messi has now scored 33 goals in 32 games this season, including 25 in the league, nine more than second place Suarez. He also has six in the Champions League.
