Now, its official! The mutual attraction between beauty queen Dabota Lawson and billionaire businessman, Prince Sunny Aku has run its full course and has thus flickered out like a dying firelight.
As you read, Dabota has filed for divorce from her billionaire husband citing irreconcilable differences and claiming she didn’t know he was legally still married to another woman when she married him.
According to her divorce suit, she indicated that she didnโt know that Aku was still married to his 4th wife, Chioma Aku, when she married him in December 2014, making her his 5th wife.
The two reportedly separated late last year after months of marital issues, mostly because of the billionaire’s ways of allegedly constantly caging her and not letting her go out and do whatever she wanted.
What came as a shock to those who know the โcoupleโ was that they put up a faรงade of bliss everywhere they went during their ill-fated relationship and made many look forward to getting hooked to sugar daddy. They were never shy to reiterate how much they were in love; holding hands and cooing into their ears and looking straight into each otherโs eyes.
Meanwhile, a source close to the couple said Sunny Aku told friends that the whole marriage thing was a sham Dabota orchestrated to get money from him to start her beauty business. Meanwhile friends of the beauty queen claim she was really in love but was tired of being caged. Their divorce case is now in court.
