Jamie Vardy could be prised away from Leicester City in the summer, but the record-breaking striker will cost any suitors a fee in the region of £30m, according to The Times.
The report says, Leicester City have just inserted a buyout fee in the 29-year-old’s contract, which may pique the interest of the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea after both clubs were rumoured to be interested in a move in January.
Vardy signed a new contract at the King Power stadium earlier in the year, seeing his wages sky-rocket to £80k-a-week for the duration of his three-and-a-half-year-deal. The club are also said to have told him that they won’t stand in his way if he decides to leave for a ‘bigger’ club.
