Mental Health is an essential part of our day to day lives. The way we think, feel and act, the manner in which we interact with others and deal with our feelings and stress, the pursuit of our goals and dreams and the choices we make are totally affected by the state of our psychological wellness.
The discussion about mental health needs to continue now like never before. We canโt stop talking about it! We have to keep educating ourselves on the knowledge of mental health and the importance of mental wellness. In May, 2020 (Mental Health Awareness Month) LPM Foundation enlisted young and diverse creatives to use their art to raise more awareness to the cause – Mental Health through the program #SAVE – Creatives for Mental Health Awareness. In the efforts to continue the conversation, these creatives were asked to create an expression of their understanding of mental health and what it means to them.
The participants are LeanKid, Niyi Okeowo, Moses Akerele, Moses Ipadeola, Jorge Wong, Joanne Ojeifo, Ella Chikezie, Toju Clarke, Debo Odukoya, Nanya Ijeh, BVNK, Raldie Young, Nwanji Onyebuchi, Tega Salubi, Eric Nwanso, Chiedozie Dike, Temi Ami-Williams, Mayowa Aboah, Faith Adele, Olasunkanmi Olayanju, Williams Anuoluwapo, Ilupeju Sheriff and Annuli Roseline.ย
