Popular reality tv star; Kim Kardashian has moved her legal activities up a notch as she announced a rideshare partnership with the US government to help and add value to former inmates. In the speech she gave to make the announcement, she mentioned that the idea behind the push for social change, began in June 2018, when she was part of the team that convinced the president to pardon Alice, a 63-year-old grandmother who was put behind bars for money laundering and drug conspiracy, since then, the need to impact more lives had grown even greater.
Speaking on the idea of the partnership, she said; “Proud to partner on this initiative with @Lyft, a company with a history of taking bold action to do what’s right for our community. Thank you for providing rideshare credits to formally incarcerated people when they come home” In her speech, while adding that the partnership would go a long way in social reformation, she said: “Whether it’s housing or the amount of letters that I get with people just needing transportation to job interviews, to jobs — these people want to work,”
The Lyft credits can be used for transportation to job interviews, workplaces and to see family members.
