The Inspector General of Police, IGP Muhammed Adamu, has ordered the immediate transfer of Vera Omozuwa’s case from the State’s Headquarters to the Force Headquarters in Abuja after a preliminary report given by the team of investigators and forensic experts from the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

The Inspector-General of Police also stated that the DIG in charge of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), DIG Anthony Ogbizi Michael will henceforth provide direct supervision and ensure a speedy and thorough investigation of the case.
