Join Edmund Olotu on March 10 for #WalkAgainstRape

There are some things we can’t ignore or sweep under the carpet. There are some things we must take an active stand against. It’s not about the government of the day or how far apart our differences are. It’s about the type of society we want the generations coming after us to be identified with.

The fabric of our society is currently undergoing some irreparable damage. Violence against women and girl children especially sexual violence is on the rise. Rape is as physical as it is psychological.

We must stem this tide to avoid the cross generational  effects of rape. Our women must feel valued and secure in our presence. We cannot afford to breed a culture of fear and mistrust between our genders. And it starts and ends with men and our actions.
