The Islamic State and the Levants (ISIL) group have claimed responsibility for a deadly attack yesterday which left 18 Iraqi soldiers dead.

Two suicide bombers were repelled by Iraqi forved before a third ISIL fighter detonated a car bomb in the town of Al-Bu Dhiaab, a town North of Ramadi.

Iraqi forces successfully drove out ISIL from Ramadi last month and ISIL have launched numerous hit and run attacks in an attempt to retake towns north of Ramadi.
