Nigerian actor Timini Egbuson recently shared a post on his social media handle to thank his fans for turning up at cinemas across the country to watch his debut production at the box office, Reel Love.
In his post, Timini thanked his colleagues, who partook and were cast in the movie for turning up for him when he needed them the most.
He also thanked his colleagues who have been hosting meet-and-greet sessions at different cinemas across the country as they helped him amplify the spread and reach of his debut box-office movie.
OSG was live at IMAX Cinemas Lekki when Reel Love premiered. And since then, the gospel of Timini’s movie has shone brightly.
Timini celebrates as Reel Love hits N167.2m
In his appreciation post, Timini revealed that his movie has topped Nigerian cinemas as the highest-grossing movie over the last two weekends since it was officially released.
The movie star confirmed that Reel Love had hit N167.2m in revenue in just two weeks in the cinemas. He noted how the success that has trailed Reel Love has made him feel, which he described as amazing.
In his post, Timini dedicated the success to everyone who supported him in achieving this dream but gave a hint that he has many more box-office hits to come as he charged his colleagues to do more and soar higher.
