“I’m a Big Davido Fan”: Buju BNXN Finally Addresses His Feud With OBO and His Fans

Nigerian singer and songwriter Daniel Etiese Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has revealed why he snubbed his colleague Davido during a live session.

Buju stated why he behaved in such a manner during an X space session with some of his fans. He explains why he does not support one side of a beef, as well as not adding any contribution to the conversations surrounding Davido and Wizkid.

The 27-years-old further gave an illustration explaining why he does support any of them and rather chose to sit on the fence.

He said:

So, in a boarding house, when two of your seniors are fighting, it almost seems like when you go to tell the other person sorry or you sympathise with the other person, it’s like you’ve chosen a side.

Whereas if you join and fight the other guy as well, you’ve also chosen a side. But for me, I just wanted to be clear on the fact that I actually did numbers as well that day.
But here’s the thing. I need to just understand that. That was too small of a scenario for anybody to feel that kind of emotion because I do, I actually do relate to you.

There’s more reason why I tell you, like, everybody likes everybody. It’s like, if I tell you, say, I’ve been singing Obeah lyrics past you, and a lot of all these people were there, would you believe that? It’s possible.
It’s normal because you’re a musician. It’s over possible because there was a period in my life where my… I liked what I liked.

BNXN’s newest single, “Cutesy“, was released in May 2025. The track showcases his signature blend of R&B and Afrobeats, delivering a smooth and romantic vibe.
