How Chioma supported me during my album creation – Davido
Davido disclosed in an open interview how Chioma’s constant presence and support gave him the drive and motivation he needed to finish the project.
Beyond the glamour of the music, however, Davido has stated that “5ive” would not have been possible without the love and encouragement of his wife, Chioma.
Speaking in a recent interview, Davido did not hesitate to express his gratitude to Chioma, saying:
“Shoutout to Chioma. When I was recording the album, she was around and gave me the energy to work.”
For Davido, Chioma was not just a silent supporter. Her presence in the studio and her emotional support became a source of motivation for him, especially during late-night recording sessions and moments of creative block.
According to Davido, she provided more than just physical support—she gave him the emotional stability he needed to focus on his craft.
Interestingly, Chioma’s influence on the album extends to the music itself. When asked about her favourite song on the album, Davido revealed that Chioma has a personal preference for the track “10 Kilo.”
“When I spoke with her two days ago, she’s shifting towards ’10 Kilo’,” Davido said.
