Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has admitted that she does not like how she looks after undergoing a recent non-surgical facial cosmetic procedure.
A video shared on Instagram by the actress on Friday showed her face one day after the facial rejuvenation treatment.
Her face appeared swollen in the clip, with Ogbodo noting that she looked very different from her usual self.
“This is day one after my facial rejuvenation; my whole face is swollen. Honestly, I don’t know. I look so different; I don’t like how I look, but I think it’s going to get better. My doctor told me it’s going to get better and look finer, so let’s see what happens,” she said.
Despite her initial reaction, Ogbodo said she was hopeful that the swelling would reduce and her appearance would improve. According to the actress, her doctor had assured her that the result would get better.
The procedure, she explained in the caption, was about giving her face the care and attention it deserved.
“Day 1 of giving my face the love, care and attention it deserves. I’m not chasing perfection. I’m simply choosing to look refreshed, youthful, confident and very much like myself,” she wrote.
“No hiding. No apologies. No pressure to age a certain way. This is my face. My journey. My choice. And baby… are we about to glow or what? Goddess mode: activated.”
Ogbodo’s facial procedure comes a few weeks after she announced her separation from her estranged husband, Bobby Maris.
