Not one person is perfect – this is a fact that gets more magnified in a leadership. However, these are sure fire ways to make sure those weakness have little or no impact on your position as a leader.

Identify said weaknesses, and ways to work around it.

Apologize when you are in the wrong, admit your fault quickly before it causes a rift in the team.

Don’t allow these weakness prevent you from fully utilizing your strengths.

Get guidance from a trusted mentor. Leaders usually have common experiences; a trusted mentor must have gone through and survived a character weakness too. Such leader would be willing to guide you.

Don’t kill yourself over it. Everyone is trying to improve, you are one of them too. Do what you can to improve and gradually, you will get better.
