Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo state has flagged off the N1 billion funding for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as part of the State’s economy recovery plan for Post Covid-19. This was mentioned by the Governor on his Twitter page today, Friday, 19th June 2020.
Governor Seyi Makinde also said that the execution of the recovery plan will be done through the Oyo State Investment and Public-Private Partnership Agency to reach the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, across the 33 Local Government Areas. He said, “This fund will provide loan facilities of up to N3 Million per MSME. It will be disbursed through Microfinance Banks at a single-digit interest rate.”
