The Ministry of Health has released a statement disclosing that there will be a free test for the virus at all public health laboratories.
A statement released on the 27th of January, and signed by the Chief Director of the Ghana Health Service, Kwabena Boadu Oku-Afari says that all persons can walk into a public health laboratory to test for the COVID-19 for free.
It however emphasized that payment for the testing will only be eligible to people traveling out and traveling into the country.
Ghana has so far confirmed 62,751 Covid-19 cases with 58,561 recoveries and 377 deaths. As of January 23, 2020, 616 new infections had been recorded bring the number of active cases to 3,813
