French President Emmanuel Macron to Visit Nigeria as Both Nations Strengthen Strategic Partnership

Emmanuel Macron Nigeria visit will mark another important milestone as France and Nigeria deepen their strategic partnership through renewed diplomatic engagement later this year. French Ambassador Marc Fonbaustier announced the planned State visit during France’s National Day celebration held Tuesday evening in Abuja before distinguished guests.

Fonbaustier emphasized that France considers Nigeria an equal partner, highlighting mutual respect as the foundation of their expanding diplomatic relationship and shared objectives. He expressed confidence that both presidents would assess progress made since previous discussions before shaping future cooperation for long-term mutual prosperity together successfully.

The planned visit reflects increasing collaboration between France and Nigeria across economic development, regional security, education, technology, and cultural exchange initiatives moving forward.
