So much was destroyed at the Oba Nla area of Akure, the Ondo State Capital where several shops and houses were been razed by fire. Eyewitnesses said the inferno started at about 9pm and it was reported to have been caused by an explosion in a mini gas station around the area. No life was recorded as lost, however, goods worth a good amount of money have been damaged coupled with the loss of property.
