The President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick has faced considerable opposition since he emerged as NFF President.
Chris Giwa had first filed a suit before the high Court in 2014 asking the court to honor the election which saw Giwa emerge President of NFF in August 26, 2014.
Chis Giwa subsequently withdrew the case following intervention by football stakeholders and threats of sanction from the World Football governing body, FIFA.
However, Chris Giwa relisted the case in February 2016 and a Federal High Court sitting in Jos ordered Amaju Pinnick to step down. Chris Giwa was Aldo named by the court as the President of the Nigerian Football Federation.
