FC IfeanyiUbah also known as Anambra warriors have won the 2016 edition of the Federation Cup. The feat was achieved through a 5-4 penalty win over Nasarawa United after the game ended goalless at full-time.
The Anambra Warriors  will now represent Nigeria at the continental level in the CAF Confederation’s Cup next season.

In the Female final played earlier, Rivers Angels triumphed over Bayelsa Queens 5-3 via penalties also after the game ended a goal apiece after regulation time.
