Enhypen has landed its first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with “The Sin: Bliss.” Dolly Parton has also returned to the top five with “Ultimate Dolly Parton” after news of her death earlier this week.
ENHYPEN Reaches No. 1
The K-pop group sold 98,000 equivalent album units in its first week with “The Sin: Bliss.” The result gives ENHYPEN its seventh top-10 album in four years.
The group had previously reached No. 2 with “The Sin: Vanish” earlier this year. It also reached No. 2 with its 2024 album “Romance: Untold.”
The new chart result marks a major milestone for ENHYPEN. The group has now moved from a No. 2 peak to the top spot on the Billboard 200.
Dolly Parton Returns to Top Five
Dolly Parton has also made a strong return to the top of the chart. Her greatest hits album “Ultimate Dolly Parton” reentered the Billboard 200 at No. 5.
The album moved 59,000 equivalent album units. Parton originally released the collection in 2003. It peaked at No. 112 in 2019.
The latest chart surge gives Parton her fourth top-10 album. It is also her second-highest-charting album ever.
Parton died at 80 after a short battle with cancer. Her death led to a sharp rise in interest in her music.
Spotify streams for her music rose by more than 1,260% worldwide. In the United States, streams increased by 2,320% in the first 24 hours after news of her death.
“Jolene” recorded the biggest surge. Its streams rose 630% globally and 1,225% in the U.S.
“9 to 5” increased 620% globally and 1,030% in the U.S. “Islands in the Stream” also rose 525% globally and 1,235% in the U.S.
Other Albums in the Top 10
Ella Langley’s “Dandelion” sits at No. 2. Olivia Rodrigo’s “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love” follows at No. 3.
Morgan Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” ranks No. 4. Katseye’s “Wild” takes No. 6.
Noah Kahan’s “The Great Divide” ranks No. 7. Stray Kids’ “This & That” is at No. 8.
Drake’s “Iceman” sits at No. 9. Ariana Grande’s “Petal” rounds out the top 10 at No. 10.
