Dada Tolani: Men make advances at me, women think I’m a player

Nollywood actor and content creator Dada Oluwasola Tolani, better known as Motolani Odobodobo, says men sometimes make romantic advances at him while women often think he is a player.

The actor spoke about his experiences in a recent interview with Oyinmomo TV, where he responded to a question about whether men make advances at him.

Dada confirmed that they do, saying the experience sometimes leaves him puzzled.

“They do come. They come, and it provokes me,” he said.

The Ekiti-born actor said he once asked a friend whether his mannerisms made him appear to attract such attention.

“I once asked a friend of mine to tell me if I walk like those people, and he said no. I’m always surprised. They do come.”

Dada said he does not judge people over their lifestyle despite receiving advances from men. Instead, he chooses not to respond to them.

“I don’t judge people,” he said.

“That is their own way of life; they know what they got themselves into. I don’t judge. I don’t just reply to them. That is it.”

The actor also spoke about his experiences with women, saying they often fail to take him seriously because they see him as a player.

“Girls don’t take me seriously. They used to think I’m actually a player,” he said.

Dada has featured in movies including ‘Chantel’ (2025), ‘Eni Egbere’ (2025), and ‘Mr Raymond’ (2024).
