COVID-19 Vaccination In Nigeria Commences As Health Workers Take Their First Shots In Abuja

The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially launched the COVID-19 vaccination program in Nigeria.

The ceremony took place at the Trauma Center, National Hospital Abuja today and so far, several health workers have taken their first shots of the vaccine.

The first person who took the shot was Dr. Cyprian Ngong and this comes after the FG received over three million doses of COVID-19 vaccines earlier this week.

The President, Muhammadu Buhari, and his Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo are expected to take the vaccines on March 6.
