Following the gradual ease of the Covid-19 lockdown announced by President Muhammadu Buhari, the Federal Government has come out to say that completion of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway road construction will be completed in 2022.

The expressway is considered as one of the busiest roads in West Africa and a rehabilitative construction work was going on when the nation was hit with the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Nigeria’s Minister of Works has confirmed that the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway will be completed by the first quarter of 2022.
