Chelsea football club have sacked a steward, after he called Cesc Fabregas “a snake”. Although the incident happened earlier this season, the footage, however, only hit the Internet on Friday.

Fabregas is shocked in the eight-second clip, as the steward tells him: “You’re a snake, you’re Arsenal, what happened to you?”

Fabregas made 503 appearances for Arsenal, after joining as a 15-year-old from Barcelona in 2003. The Spaniard returned to Camp Nou in 2011, before moving to Stamford Bridge in June 2014. A Chelsea spokesman told MirrorSport: “The steward no longer works at Stamford Bridge.”
