Despite the Turkish government stepping up its attack against ISIL last week, a car bomb has exploded in Southern Turkey today. After an attack at a border town in Suruc which left dozens of people dead, Turkish forces have arrested over 300 individuals in the past three days.
A car bomb exploded in Turkey today in what is presumed to be the militants way of fighting back after Turkey commenced air strikes against ISIL positions in Syria as well as PKK fighters in Iraq.
The attack, which reportedly targeted soldiers took place at the Diyarbakir province leaving four soldiers wounded. In the aftermath of the attack, the Turkish army has blamed Kurdish fighters for the attack.
