Russia and England fans appeared to clash inside the Stade Velodrome at the end of their Euro 2016 match.
It followed a third a day of violent incidents between fans in Marseilles, where one England fan was reported to be critically injured.
Video footage from inside the Stade Velodrome this evening appears to show fans being chased across the stands and towards security barriers at the end of each row of seats after Russian supporters appeared to move into the England fans’ areas of the ground after the final whistle.
Backed into a corner the fans can then be seen clambering over the security fences and being pulled to safety on the other side.
Jamie Vardy’s wife Rebekah has reportedly been “teargassed” whilst at the England match this evening.
Posting on Twitter, Mrs Vardy wrote: “That has to be up there with the worst experience EVER at an away game! Teargassed for no reason, caged and treated like animals! Shocking!”

The incident came after a third day of violence in Marseilles left as many as 20 England fans injured, with reportedly several seriously hurt in bloody clashes between rival fans.

It came as Russia scored an injury-time equaliser to hold England to a 1-1 draw in the pair’s first game of the tournament.
