Bomb Blast In Adamawa Claims 17 Lives
Two female suicide bombers detonated improvised explosive devices in Adamawa yesterday.
The Nigerian Army confirmed that the attack took place in Madagali village yesterday, hours after another attack in Maiduguri.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed that 17 people died from the attack and 41 people were also injured.
The wave of fresh Boko Haram attacks come as the Government’s deadline to defeat the insurgents draws closer.
The government has insisted that the insurgents have been technically defeated. However, the recent attacks contradict the government’s claims as citizens wonder if the insurgency will ever end.
