Organizers have announced the virtual audition of the next Big Brother Naija show. The online audition will run from May 20 to May 30 and potential contestants are to send a two-minute video stating why they should be picked as a housemate.

As expected the news has caused many Nigerians to flood social media with mixed reactions.

Are you thinking of auditioning for the Big Brother NAIJA show?

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Find a Good Camera: An 8 megapixel phone camera or better will do a great job.

2. Find a Good Location: A place with great lighting and lots of windows. Avoid dark places, it can kill the mood.

3. Be Creative: What you don’t want to be is to be lost in the crowd. Do something to make you stand out.

4. Be Confident: Confidence is the new sexy. Use calm open body language, poor posture is immediately obvious on camera.

5. Smile, especially at the beginning of your video. It makes a huge difference.

6. Be Alive: Don’t just read from a script, act like you’re talking to someone. Don’t stare at the camera or any individual object. Use limited hand gestures. Use your face to reinforce your words.

7. Speak Clearly: Don’t stutter or stammer, do a lot of practice before you shoot your video.
