Nigerian actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has welcomed a baby boy with his wife, Abiodun Folashade Tokunbo, seven months after regaining his freedom from prison.

The actor announced the arrival of their son in an Instagram post on Monday, describing the newborn as a blessing from God and introducing him as King Kagar Omiyinka.

“In quiet ways, in Unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell… We thank the Almighty for blessing us with a healthy baby BOY,” Baba Ijesha wrote.

He also praised his wife, saying: “God gave me more than I prayed for, my ever Beautiful wife, Strong JAGABAN, Abikesde mi owoh @ceolumineeofficial, who became a mother of my Son KING KAGAR OMIYINKA.”

Abiodun equally celebrated the birth of their child, writing: “The Tiniest Feet Have, Our Little Star Has Arrived To Heighten Our Lives.. Psalm 139:13. Jeremiah 29:11. Numbers 6:24. Jeremiah 1:15.”

She added: “YOU ARE CHOSEN KING KAGAR @king_kagar_o Before I found you in the Womb. I Knew You ARIYO OSUU… 12years after @anjybabygirl !! Our little miracle is finally here! I’m Proud Of ME @ceoluminee_legit.”

The actor’s latest family milestone comes after he completed a prison sentence in November 2025. In July 2022, a Lagos High Court sentenced him to 16 years’ imprisonment on charges including indecent treatment of a child and sexual assault.
